Abby Elliott

Abby Elliott, born June 16, 1987 is an American actor and comedian. She was an Saturday Night Live cast member from 2008 to 2012. In the years since, she appeared on the Bravo comedy Odd Mom Out as well as on the NBC sitcom Indebted. The actress is the daughter of actor and comedian Chris Elliott. Elliott was born in New York City, the oldest of two children. Elliott is the daughter of Paula Niedert a talent coordinator and comedian Chris Elliott. Her grandfather was Bob Elliott (radio comedian). She is the younger sister of the actress Bridey Elliott. Both were born in Wilton, Connecticut. She attended Immaculate High School Danbury where she was in musicals and school plays. After finishing Immaculate High School in 2005 she enrolled at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City but she dropped out in her first semester .In 2010, Elliott had a romantic relationship with fellow Saturday Night Live cast member Fred Armisen. They ended their relationship in September 2011. On September 3 in 2016, Elliott was married on September 3, 2016 to Bill Kennedy, a television writer. The couple has a daughter named Edith Pepper Kennedy. Elliott took comedy classes at The Groundlings and eventually began practicing and performing in various sketch comedy shows held at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB) in Los Angeles.
